Press On

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

This past month has been a difficult one.  The month started with Gary being hospitalized with pneumonia and respiratory infection.  He spent three days in the hospital, came home and recuperated for the next two weeks.  I took him to the doctor on October 9 for a follow-up and at the same time asked the doctor what I should take for the cold I now had.  So I took what he suggested and the cold lingered.  I then had a sinus infection that has finally cleared up but now I think I am fighting the flu as I have absolutely no energy at all.  As I said this has been a difficult month.  But this one thing I know for sure is that God is not going to put more on me than He or I can't handle because He is my Lord and Savior and in Him I will put all my trust.  I know that this to shall pass and the light at the end of the tunnel is the glory of God shining through so I am going to let His light shine through me and press on.

Press On
When the valley is deep
When the mountain is steep
When the body is weary
When we stumble and fall
When the choices are hard
When we're battered and scarred
When we've spent our resources
When we've given our all

In Jesus' name, we press on
In Jesus' name, we press on
Dear Lord, with the prize
Clear before our eyes
We find the strength to press on
In Jesus' name, we press on
In Jesus' name, we press on
Dear Lord, with the prize
Clear before our eyes
We find the strength to press on
To press on
