God not only knows us, but He values us highly in spite of all He knows. "You are worth more than many sparrows." How do we get to know God? By spending time with Him in prayer and then taking the time to listen.
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24
