Ephesians 5:8-14

S ~
O & A ~ I am no longer in the darkness and I am to learn what is pleasing to God.  I am to walk in His light doing the things that please Him.  I am no longer dead but alive in Christ and His light will shine through me.
P ~ Father God thank you for removing the darkness from my life.  Thank you for giving me new life through Your Son.  Father let His light radiate through me, Amen

Ephesians 5:5-7

S ~

O ~ The impure person does not have an inheritance in the kingdom of God.  We are not to partake of immoral things.
A ~ I am to obey the commandments God has given us to live by.
P ~ Father God teach me thy ways and let me think only pure thoughts, Amen

Ephesians 5:1-4

S ~

O ~ I am to be an imitator of God and walk in love.
A ~ As I go about daily living I am to be like Christ.  I am to let others see Him living in my life, to see His fragrance within me.  I am to speak true and kind words and I am not to be greedy.  I am to give thanks in all things!!!
P ~ Dear Father help me to walk the path you have set before me.  Help me to be Christ like to all I come in contact with, that they smell His fragrance and want to know more about Christ, Amen

Ephesians 4:30-32

S ~
O ~ Praise God I have been redeemed, I have been forgiven!!!
A ~ I am to forgive others just as Christ has forgiven me.  I'm going to be very honest here, this one is a tough for me.  I'm supposed to forgive someone who hurt me more than I thought I could be hurt.  I am supposed to forgive someone who did their best to destroy my marriage.  I am supposed to forgive someone who did all this while saying they were my friend.  Yes I finally did offer the forgiveness to that individual.  Was it easy, absolutely not!  I found that the only person I was hurting was myself by having an unforgiving heart.
P ~ Father God thank you for granting me forgiveness.  Father God thank you for removing the bitterness and the anger I held on to toward this individual.  Thank you for cleansing my heart and filling it with your love, Amen

Ephesians 4:28-29

S ~

O ~ Everything we do or say is to give grace to all who hear.
A ~ We are to work for the things we need, we are to share them with others and we are to speak kind words.
P ~ Father God give me the strength and courage to work for the things my family needs and to never ever be afraid to share what you have so blessed us with.  Father God let my words always be kind and may they always give You the glory for the many blessings you send my way, Amen

Ephesians 4:25-27

S ~

O ~ Speak the truth and it is okay to be angry but not to a point as to where it consumes you.
A ~ I am not to pretend to be something I am not and I should always speak the truth.  I remember my Momma telling me as a teenage not to let the sun set on my anger, to forgive and to move on with life.
P ~ Dear Father let me always be truthful with my family, friends and yes with my neighbor.  Father God let me things the way you want me to and when I am angry help me to forgive, Amen

Ephesians 4:20-24

S ~

O ~ The old me is gone and I have been renewed in the Spirit.
A ~ I need to walk the talk and lead by example.
P ~ Father God thank you, thank you for the new life you have given me.  You have made me in Christ image and I pray that other will see Him living in me, Amen

Ephesians 4:17-19

S ~

O ~ I am no longer a Gentile and I need to keep my mind off immoral things.

A ~ I am to walk as a child of God with my mind focused on Him.

P ~ Father God thank you for the abundant blessings you give me every day.  Help me to keep my mind focused on You and the work you have given me to do.  Help me to let the example of Your Son Jesus Christ shine through me, Amen

Ephesians 4:14-16

S ~

O ~ We are not to act like little children wanting our way in every thing.  We are to act like a mature person wanting only the best for every one.  We are to grow together in unity in Christ Jesus and become one body, growing and working together building the body in love for God's glory.

A ~ I need not to try and do things on my own.  I am a part of the body of Christ.

P ~ Father God help me to look to you and do the things you want me to do, Amen

Ephesians 4:11-13

S ~

O ~ He knew us from the beginning, He knew what we were capable of, so He gave each of us the ability needed to build the body of Christ.  We were to be one body, unified for the glory of God.

A ~ I am to use the abilities He blessed with.  I may not think I can do it because it doesn't fit into my plans but God may have different plans for me.  I need to wait, trust and have faith to accomplish the task He has for me.

P ~ Father God let all things I do be done to glorify You and Your Son, Amen.

Ephesians 4:7-10

S ~

O ~  What a remarkable gift He gave us, the gift of grace, that He gave to each of us.

A ~  Christ came to earth from Heaven and gave each of us not only the gift of grace but various abilities that we are to use to glorify Him, to use to further His kingdom. 

P ~ Father God help me use the gifts you gave me to spread the good news of your Son Jesus Christ, Amen

Ephesians 4:4-6

O

One God and He has dominion over everything!

A

I am to do what God has called me to do through faith.

P

Father God I ask that you be with me daily and I walk the path you have laid out before me, Amen

Ephesians 4:1-3

S ~ Ephesians 4:1-3

O ~ We are to act as God's chosen people, we are to humble, gentle and patient with each other.  We are to love each other.  We are to live in peace with the Holy Spirit guiding us.

A ~ I am the daughter of the King of Kings and I need to act like it.  I need to love with His love by not letting someone's negativity or faults bring me down.  I am to be at peace with others and to love as He loves me.

P ~ Father God thank you for all the blessings, the love and for sending your comforter the Holy Spirit.  Thank you for the peace you will give me when I place my faith and trust in you.  Amen

Ephesians 3:20-21

S ~ Ephesians 20-21

O ~ If we get out of the way and let God work through us He will accomplish more than we ever could.  He has a master plan for all of us and that plan came to be through His Son Jesus Christ.

A ~ Move myself out of God's way.  When I give something to Him I should not try to take it back.  When I do take it back I am saying God I don't trust You to take care of the situation.  Take my need to control out of the equation and let God do His work through me.

P ~ Father God help me to not get in your way.  I know Your way is not my way and I need to wait on you.  Thank you Father for all you have done and for all you are going to do.  Amen

Ephesians 3:19

S ~ Ephesians 3:19

O ~ God's love for me cannot be measured!

A ~ Accept this love and all that God has planned for me. 

P ~ There is a song that says it best.

Ephesians 3:18

S ~ Ephesians 3:18

O ~ Christ's love is without ending!

A ~ Fellowship and study God's Word with other believers.  Except the unconditional love Christ has for me and share His love with others.

P ~ Father God thank you for Your Son and the great love He has for me.  Amen

Ephesians 3:16-17

S ~ Ephesians 3:16-17

O ~ God will give me the strength of His Holy Spirit and I am to trust Him in all things as I grow in His love.

A ~ When trials come my way I need to lean on His strength.  I need to put place all my trust in Him with Christ living in my heart. 

 For I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.
Philippians 4:13

P ~ Dear Father I pray that I walk each day in your strength trusting You to take care of me.  Father God give me the desire to spend more time in Your Word that I may grow in knowledge and seek your will in all things.  Amen

Ephesians 3:14-15

S ~ Ephesians 3:14-15

O ~ Everything that happens is a part of God's plan.

A ~ I am learning that God's plan is always better than my plans.  I need to keep God at the center of the plans I have, seek His will and His direction instead of going ahead without His guidance.  Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

P ~ Father God thank you for always have my best interest at heart.  Thank you for leading and guiding me down the path you would have me trod.  Thank you for blessing my life with a wonderful Christian mother and for her dedication to instilling Your Word in my life.  She is with you now and I just know you welcomed her home with wide open arms telling her "Well done."  Thank you for saving my soul, Amen.

Ephesians 3:12-13

S ~ Ephesians 3:12-13

O ~ I don't someone to approach the throne of God for me.  I can come as I am, without having to put on airs pretending to be something I am not with out fear.

A ~ Christ is my mediator and I need nothing else.

P ~ Father God thank for You Son, thank You for the many things you have blessed my life with.  Thank You that I can call on you any time of day or night for you are always with me.  Amen

Ephesians 3:10-11

S ~ Ephesians 3:10-11

O ~ God's plan from the beginning was to see us, His church, worshipping together.

A ~ I am a part of the Family of God and I should act like it at all times.

P ~ Father God thank you for your goodness, for your plan Your church to worship together as one body.  Amen
