Father,
I thank you for revealing truths to me, truths that when addressed will lead me to a life of uncommon joy. I thank you for showing me how my competitive nature and need for worldly things affect my peace. I thank you for helping me realize that words said hurtfully, from years ago, are affecting my purpose. And, Lord, I pray that you will help me manage my thoughts and actions in a way that brings glory to you. Amen
