The Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.
Isaiah 25:8
Today as I was driving home I so enjoyed all the beauty that God placed here for us. The green meadows, the abundance of trees and the clouds in the sky.
As my sweetie and I took our boy Ozzie for his afternoon walk I stopped and took a few pictures along the way.
Taking in all this beauty got me to thinking how beautiful Heaven will be when God calls me home. I'm not in any hurry to leave my family and friends but I know where I am going. I know that loved ones that have gone to live with our Heavenly Father will be there waiting with Jesus to welcome me home. I know that there won't be any tears for God will have wiped them all away and all will be gladness.
How Beautiful Heaven Must Be
by A. P. Bland, A. S. Bridgewater, Brock, Dwight Moody
We read of a place that's called heaven,
It's made for the pure and the free;
These truths in God's word He has given,
How beautiful heaven must be.
It's made for the pure and the free;
These truths in God's word He has given,
How beautiful heaven must be.
How beautiful heaven must be
Sweet home of the happy and free;
Fair haven of rest for the weary,
How beautiful heaven must be.
In heaven no drooping nor pining,
No wishing for elsewhere to be;
God's light is forever, there shining,
How beautiful heaven must be.
No wishing for elsewhere to be;
God's light is forever, there shining,
How beautiful heaven must be.
How beautiful heaven must be
Sweet home of the happy and free;
Fair haven of rest for the weary,
How beautiful heaven must be.
The angels so sweetly are singing,
Up there by the beautiful sea;
Sweet chords from their gold harps are ringing,
How beautiful heaven must be.
Up there by the beautiful sea;
Sweet chords from their gold harps are ringing,
How beautiful heaven must be.
How beautiful heaven must be
Sweet home of the happy and free;
Fair haven of rest for the weary,
How beautiful heaven must be...
